About Our Founder
About Ann
Ann has decades of experience in writing, communications, marketing and non profit management.
She worked for nearly 20 years at a major, Fortune 50 financial services firm in various leadership roles in areas including external affairs, government relations, communications, learning and development, employee engagement and diversity, equity and inclusion. Before that, she served as President & CEO of a Hudson Valley regional business organization and prior to that, she led the Public Affairs Department of the New York State Assembly Minority Conference as well as served as Director of Communications for a senior member of the New York State Senate.
She received statewide recognition as a New York State "Woman of Distinction," and has been recognized by numerous Hudson Valley organizations including Dia:Beacon and the Dia Art Foundation, Dutchess County Girl Scouts Council and was named by the Hudson Valley Boy Scouts as a "Distinguished Citizen." She was a Top Forty Under 40 in recognition of professional excellence, leadership, and commitment to community.
She received her undergraduate degree from Ithaca College and a master’s degree in integrated marketing communication from Marist College (now University), where she also serves as an adjunct professor.
